Takkahuonejooga + Sauna by Löyly & Roots Helsinki

Tule aloittamaan viikonloppusi joogaamalla ja saunomalla! Lempeän lämpöinen aloitus kiireettömään viikonloppuun meren välittömässä läheisyydessä.

Aamu alkaa 60 minuutin pehmeän liikkuvalla joogatunnilla Löylyn tunnelmallisessa takkahuoneessa tulen äärellä. Luvassa on avaava ja vahvistava tunti, jossa liikutaan pehmeästi hengityksen johdattamana.

Pakettiin kuuluu lisäksi saunominen Löylyn upeissa puitteissa (+ virkistävä pulahdus meressä) sekä joogan jälkeinen smoothie.

Tunnit järjestetään joka lauantaiaamu klo 10.15-11.15 ja saunavuoro 11.15-12.45. Näille tunneille olet tervetullut aiemmasta kokemuksestasi huolimatta, eli utelias mieli riittää! Ohjaajina sulostuttavat Roots Helsingin Emma ja Linda ♥

PARENT & BABY YOGA + BABY MASSAGE COURSE

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT & WHO IT’S FOR

Having a baby is one of the best things in the world. Doing yoga with said baby is even better (most of the time).

Baby Yogi Club is a five week course for parents and babies. This course is great for those recovering from giving birth/coming back to their yoga practice, and incorporates safe asana with restorative movement, breath work and relaxation. It’s also great for dads/partners/other caregivers, who will enjoy and benefit from a slow, sweet practice and hanging out with the baby just as well.

Babies are the best teachers, so your practice can be baby-lead, based on your little buddy’s needs to nurse, nap, or have a nappy change. This is a safe space for all parents/caregivers. All you need to bring is yourself, your baby and a blanket for them to hang out on.

WHAT THE COURSE FEATURES

- postnatal practice for reconnecting to the pelvic floor
- safe poses for rekindling the core and strengthening the abdominal muscles
- pranayama breath work for parents
- heart-openers and stretches for the upper back and shoulders, i.e. the baby-carrying muscles
- themed, gentle and/or more dynamic standing sequences
- meditation, with or without baby
- instructed baby massage, with tips for a home baby massage practice

In each 90 min session, we’ll spend about 30 minutes doing baby massage, which is a great way to not only bond with your baby, but also to address anything from tummy trouble to finding better sleep. You’ll get some useful tips for a home practice, as well as written instructions for it.

You’re welcome to join the course any time after a month from giving birth based on your own feeling and/or the all clear from you doctor. Variations on poses will be offered according to your recovery and general feeling. The course is predominantly in English, but Finnish guidance is always available.

Practise makes progress / Joogan tekniikkakurssi

Tutkitaan, toistetaan ja treenataan joogan perustekniikoita, mitä tapahtuu chaturangassa ja miten ranteita voidaan vahvistaa? Perusasanoiden tekniikan ja anatomian ymmärtäminen mahdollistaa turvallisen joogaharjoituksen ja kehon, joka jaksaa vielä vuosia eteenpäin. Kurssi sopii kaikille, sekä ensimmäiseksi katsaukseksi että tietämyksen syventämiseksi. Tule viilaamaan, kertaamaan tai lisäämään kerroksia.
