I won’t let go of: Japanese teas and funny faces
I get inspired by: Poetry, and long solitary swims
Teaching style: Playful, creative and focused
First touch with yoga: An online Hatha class led by a friend. I will never forget the feeling of lightness and spaciousness I felt after that first savasana!
A book that changed my life: The heart of Yoga by T.K.V. Desikachar. It was the first encounter with the philosophy of yoga; it offered me a profound understanding of the practice, revealing its depth far beyond the physical aspects.
Laura is an Italian former ballet dancer, now a visual and performance artist, as well as a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher.
Yoga has played a transformative role in her life, helping her reconnect with her body after years of neglect. Through yoga, she rediscovered the joy of movement and the pleasure of presence, while also confronting aspects of herself she had previously avoided.
In 2022, Laura obtained her certification as an Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga teacher in India and has since continued to deepen her practice and expand her knowledge. Her teaching is influenced by her main teachers, Annie Carpenter and Jason Crandell, among others, who have shaped her understanding of alignment, pranayama, and philosophy.
Laura’s approach is rooted in a passion for sharing the full spectrum of yoga—from its sweet, rewarding moments to its inevitable challenges. She emphasizes proper alignment and technique, while encouraging her students to understand, appreciate, and respect their bodies. Her aim is to make yoga accessible, transformative, and a source of meaningful connection.
