In a Hatha class, we practice yoga slowly and with control. A slower practice isn’t necessarily easier, but it calms the body and mind. The class begins with flowing movements that warm up the body and progresses through slow, strengthening asana practices toward more meditative and restorative exercises. We end the session with a final relaxation and breathing exercises.
Props like blocks, straps, and blankets are used as needed to ensure proper alignment. The class is suitable for everyone, including beginners.
