The practice combines the calm, long, and opening poses of yin yoga with acupressure points based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which are primarily targeted using balls placed on specific points.
The five elements of TCM, along with their corresponding organs, energy channels, and meridians with acupressure points, form the foundation of the practice. You will experience a wonderful opening and spaciousness in your body, as the pressure from the balls deepens the effects, bringing peace to your mind and balance to your nervous system. Relax into yin poses while the pressure from the balls enhances the flow of energy and fluids in your body. The class is suitable for everyone and can also be done without the balls.
