Clean the mat with mat wash for organic yoga mats or 50/50 organic apple cider vinegar/water on a damp cloth. No cleaning with only water since this will dry out the mat faster. No machine wash.

Organic yoga mats can have a characteristic scent in the beginning, however this fades with time and use and is only natural.
