Teaching Style: Creating a safe and permissive atmosphere is paramount. The aim is to lead fellow yogis to find a connection with their own body and its power through the practice of alignment.
First touch with yoga: An Astanga beginner course in 2012, which began an eternal journey of exploration.
Book that changed my life: The Book of Joy by Dalai Lama & Desmond Tutu. This book summarizes human nature and how beneath all the layers, we are all the same in the end.
Emilia’s yoga classes explore the body’s physical resources while strengthening them. Each exercise has the opportunity to become an exploration into the wisdom of your own unique body. The series of movements consists of both dynamic vinyasas and asanas that enliven everyone’s creativity. Our bodies are wise and know what they need at any given moment.
For Emilia, yoga practice is about finding physical limits, exploring the truth of life, and at best, effortless presence. In addition to teaching yoga (RYT500), Emilia works as a physiotherapist.
