Sara-Sofia
I won’t let go of: Sacred morning rituals and sadhana (daily spiritual practice).
I get inspired by: Dance, movement, music, nature, being in the water, learning & reading, singing, travelling, being moved by someone or something, sun, sleep, spontaneous acts and adventures. I love mantras and diving deep with all the things.
Teaching style: Playful, somatic, allowing and creative. I encourage you to meet yourself where you’re at in practice.
First touch with yoga: My first encounters with yoga were through Ashtanga and hot yoga. At first I enjoyed the physical aspect of those practices but my journey took a profound turn in India where I got an injury during my first teacher training. Pain in the body led me to explore somatics and embodied movement, sparking a passion for honouring the body’s innate wisdom.
Book that changed my life: Ah, so many. Latest favourite: Returning Home To Our Bodies By Abigail Rose Clarke.
Astrology: Gemini sun, aries moon and scorpio rising.
