Roots Rebirth: yoga retreat

Come enjoy the returning spring light with us in the middle of nature! This weekend retreat is for you who want a break, some time for yourself, a change of scenery and and a gentle reset as a new season begins. The retreat includes nourishing yoga classes to awaken both body and mind, moments of silence, and the healing presence of nature. Everything is taken care of – all you have to do is show up.

Join our long-term teachers Eveliina and Julia H. on this weekend retreat to enjoy the sceneries and peace and quiet at Heponiemen Hiljaisuuden keskus In Karjalohja. This retreat includes morning and evening sessions of hatha, flow, and yin yoga as well as meditation; and nourishing vegetarian dishes, sauna, lake sceneries, chilling, and who knows, maybe even new friends.

Welcome to spend the spring weekend in Karjalohja by the water!

The retreat begins on Friday afternoon at 5 and ends on Sunday afternoon at 3.

Included are…

• 5 yoga practices
• Vegetarian dishes prepared with love: dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday
• Sauna on Friday evening, Saturday evening – and the option to go swimming in the lake
• Spending time together and relaxing – or enjoying time alone in peace
• Time in nature to enjoy the lake scenery and some peace and quiet, that is sure to pamper your mind and body
• Staying in shared rooms of two – each room has a toilet and a shower

The yoga practices in this retreat are held in English. You can communicate with the teachers in Finnish or English.

Retreat location:

This retreat is held in Heponiemen hiljaisuuden keskus (Heponiemi centre of silence) in Karjalohja. It is located in nature by a lake, just over an hour by car from the center of Helsinki.

The teachers:

Eveliina Holm is a yoga teacher, Ayurveda Life Coach and mindfulness instructor at CFM®. Spirituality, yoga philosophy, embodiment and holistic approach also come to the fore under Evelina’s guidance. The unique sound world and music support the practice. In Eveliina’s view, yoga occurs when one can fully surrender to experience this moment and draw empowering insights from both oneself and the world. In addition to the asana, Eveliina uses e.g. free movement, breathing and visualization. The classes are deep, fun and dynamic – small holiday trips in your daily life towards your true self.

Julia Hackzell is an endlessly curious human, a forever devoted student, and a person who cares deeply for people, animals, and mother earth. She is dedicated to truth, and authenticity, and to helping others realize their innate magic. She is an empath by heart, an introvert that loves to express herself, a born dreamer, and a believer in magic. Julia’s mission is to guide people to their true Hearts, the Heart of the Divine. Julia has been teaching and studying yoga since 2015 and has always had a deep curiosity for the human body and its complexity. Her classes and offerings are deeply impacted by somatics, the elements, sound, and creative flow.

The price includes:

• Lodging in a shared room of two
• Instructed yoga practices
• Vegetarian dishes prepared with love: dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday
• Sauna on Friday evening and Saturday evening – and the option to go swimming in the lake
• Bed linen and towel

The price includes everything except for traveling there and back. You can arrive either by car or a shared ride. We will create a Facebook group amongst the attendees where you can inquire about shared rides.

You can secure your spot by paying the reservation fee when booking.  We will be sending the bill in the spring closer to the retreat. 

Limited spots available. Group size max 22 people. The retreat will take place if there are at least 12 people registered by 28.2.
